Terms & Service Agreement

By scheduling service with H2O FLOW LLC, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Service Terms

H2O FLOW LLC provides professional irrigation and backflow services including, but not limited to, sprinkler start-ups, winterization (blowouts), repairs, installations, backflow testing, and backflow repairs. All services are performed in accordance with applicable state and local standards.

Services are limited to the scope agreed upon at the time of scheduling or as outlined on the invoice or estimate. Any additional work requested or required will be quoted separately and must be approved prior to completion.

2. Spring Start-Ups

Spring start-ups include system activation, controller programming, zone operation checks, and visual inspection of components.

Spring start-ups do not include repairs or replacement of damaged components. Common issues such as broken heads, cracked fittings, valve failures, or freeze damage will be identified and communicated to the customer. Repairs will be quoted and billed separately upon approval.

3. Winterization / Sprinkler Blowouts

Sprinkler blowouts are intended to reduce the risk of freeze damage but cannot guarantee prevention of damage, especially to aging, brittle, or previously compromised components.

H2O FLOW LLC is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Freeze damage
  • Improper system installation
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Components not visible or accessible

If damage is clearly caused by improper blowout procedure, H2O FLOW LLC will repair the affected component at no charge. Repairs related to pre-existing or winter-related damage are billable.

4. Repairs

All repairs, including sprinkler and backflow repairs, are billed separately from maintenance services. Repairs are not included with spring start-ups, blowouts, or backflow testing unless explicitly stated in writing.

Parts and labor are subject to availability and pricing at the time of service. H2O FLOW LLC is not responsible for manufacturer defects but will assist with warranty claims when applicable.

5. Backflow Testing

Annual backflow testing is performed in accordance with state and local regulations. Testing includes required documentation and submission to the applicable water purveyor.

Testing does not include repairs or replacement of failed assemblies. Failed tests will be communicated to the customer, and repair or replacement options will be quoted separately.

Some municipalities require additional processing or compliance fees. These fees may be billed separately or included as part of the service price depending on jurisdiction.

6. Restricted Access & Confined Space

Backflow devices located in vaults, pits, crawl spaces, locked rooms, or restricted-access areas may require additional time, equipment, or safety precautions.

H2O FLOW LLC reserves the right to apply a Restricted Access or Confined Space Fee when applicable. Access issues that prevent testing or service may result in a service charge.

7. Pricing & Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Residential customers: Payment is due at the time of service
  • Commercial customers: Net terms (Net 10, Net 15, or Net 30) may be extended with prior approval

Invoices not paid within the agreed terms may be subject to late fees, service suspension, and collection costs.

H2O FLOW LLC reserves the right to require deposits or prepayment for certain services.

8. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments where access is unavailable, may be subject to a service fee.

Repeated cancellations may require prepayment for future scheduling.

9. Warranty

H2O FLOW LLC provides a workmanship warranty on installed parts and labor as stated on the invoice. This warranty does not cover:

  • Freeze damage
  • Physical damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use or maintenance

Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and components when applicable.

10. Liability Limitations

H2O FLOW LLC is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Hidden or pre-existing conditions
  • Improper installation by others
  • Soil conditions, rocks, or root intrusion
  • Electrical issues beyond irrigation controls

The customer is responsible for marking private utilities, pet containment systems, and underground wiring not publicly marked.

11. Acceptance of Terms

Scheduling service, approving estimates, or allowing work to proceed constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
